Let's face it: it costs a lot of money to pull off the wedding of your dreams. According to Credit Sesame, the average cost of a wedding in 2010 equaled to $26,984, with the reception venue, catering, florist, photographer and entertainment ranked as the most costly expenses. Of course, this amount may vary depending on where you live. For example, the average cost of a wedding in Houston, TX is $29,919 while the average cost of a wedding in Manhattan, NY clocked in at $70,730 (eek!). Here in DC, the average wedding costs about $33,727.

Who says you have to spend hoards of cash on flower arrangements? There are plenty of alternative options out there for your bridal bouquets, boutineers and other flower decor.
