According to Credit Sesame, the average cost of a wedding in 2010 equaled to $26,984, with the reception venue, catering, florist, photographer and entertainment ranked as the most costly expenses. Of course, this amount may vary depending on where you live. For example, the average cost of a wedding in Houston, TX is $29,919 while the average cost of a wedding in Manhattan, NY clocked in at $70,730 (eek!). Here in DC, the average wedding costs about $33,727.

Not only do they look almost exactly like the real thing, they will last a heck of a lot longer than flowers will. And, they come in many, many different styles, shapes, colors and sizes.
